We attended the 3rd Annual Laugh for a Cure at The Army and Navy Vets Club tonight May 3. This was to raise money for breast cancer research and to increase the quality of life of those families who are currently fighting the battle with breast cancer. We believe this event was organized mainly by men and the idea for this was born at a golf tournament. Pictured here is just a small portion of the loot in the silent auction. The red shirt on the far left is a replica vintage Red Wing Jersey signed by Gordie Howe. Local artist, Betty Aasen,  donated two paintings that fetched a good price. The “Laugh” part of the evening came from three comedians who were so funny our cheeks hurt from laughing. Tickets were 25.00 and included a buffet of buns, Luncheon meat, pickles and cheese. An event well worth attending.
