Decorating-Splurge Or Save

When should you splurge and when should you save when decorating. Buy the best you can afford on the big pieces of furniture like a sofa or bed. Don’t purchase less expensive furniture because you have kids; adding a slipcover will keep the sofa new. If it is well-built, it is worth recovering in the years to come. It is actually is less expensive to buy a good set once, than a cheap set twice. Save on end tables, art and lamps to start with if needed.

SHARING: I do not claim all posts to be my own…I post the sites they are from if the source is known.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Today’s kids will never know the feeling of slamming the phone down after an argument, now all you can do is poke your screen in an angry rage.
