SHARING: I do not claim all posts to be my own…I post the sites, who and where they originate if the source is known.

JOKE OF THE DAY: Every time I think I have my ducks in a row, they waddle off in all directions.

THIS DAY IN SPORTS: 1972 a horrific tragedy, as terrorists murder 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: Jack Daniel: Founded his own line of Tennessee whiskey and the famed Jack Daniel’s brand. His distillery was first licensed in 1866, but this was later challenged by Peter Krass in the 2004 biography Blood & Whiskey: The Life and Times of Jack Daniel, who said it was 1875.

HAPPY SEPTEMBER 5 BIRTHDAY TO: Rose McGowan 43, Michael Keaton 66, Skander Keynes 26, Raquel Welsh 77, Bob Newhart 88, Dweezil Zappa 48 (this is when you KNOW you are old, when rock legend’s kids are getting up there), George Lazenby 78, Freddy Mercury (1946-1991), Jack Daniel (1846-1911), and Jesse James (1847-1882).
