On Saturday April 20 Mona and myself from Charter House Interiors attended the Saskatoon Prayer Breakfast where, we not only got to meet Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons but got a VIP photo-op with him. We wore Argo jerseys which certainly helped us get a shoe-in with one of the top speakers in the country. Pinball is upbeat, humble and tireless, we were over-the-moon honored to meet him. Guest soloist Sonia Reid sang Oh Canada and The Lord’s Prayer…what a voice! The food was good, hot and plentiful considering the catering staff were feeding over 800 people in less than an hour. Well done. Mayor Don Atchison was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal on the Dedicated Contributions and Service to his Peers. The Mayor, in his speech, did promise to keep Chrismas in Saskatoon. Thank you for that. Pairieland Park always puts on top notch events and kudos to all the sponsors of this event.
