Trouble with Google

Today GOOGLE featured the face of Cesar Chavez, (a Mexican farmworker who organized Latio farmworkers in the 1960’s) in the middle O on the GOOGLE homepage. A furious backlash from everywhere was immediate.

Tweeted one: Congrats GOOGLE, you’ve managed to alienate all Christians in America today: instead of celebrating Christ, they celebrate Cesar Chavez.

Tweeted Another: Today I switch to bing since GOOGLE thinks Christ is less important than Cesar Chavez.

*NOTE* If you GOOGLE now, you get just plain GOOGLE. Wow!

HMMMM: 97% of people laugh even harder when they try to explain why they are laughing.

Breaking News-Joe Dogs Gone

Got back from dog park this morning to this. Joe Dogs at The Pat was being demolished with surgical procedure. The whole process took about 2 hours (8:00-10:00) which incidentally was about the time we waited to get a burger served to us once. It was worth the wait, they had good burgers. Sad just the same.

GARDENSCAPE was (at least for us) a roaring success. Thank you to all who stopped in to our booth. The show closed at 5:00, we were packed up and back to the store by 10:00; but the unpacking will take days..and days..and days.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: I will be buried in a spring loaded casket filled with confetti, and a future archaeologist will have one awesome day at work.

STOP THE PRESSES: Serial cheater and sleazebag Jesse James married pro drag racer Alexis DeJoria. This is his 4th time down the aisle. Bets anyone? How long will it be before his first ‘slip’? And will he wallpaper a room in marriage and divorce certificates? Will that appear on Celebrity Cribs? Stand by.
